 Prepares for the Ultimate XU Homecoming Experience

will host its annual Homecoming celebration November 1-5, 2023. Alumni are encouraged to join and celebrate ’s unique culture, with this year’s theme being “Destination 504: The Ultimate XU Homecoming Experience.” The Student Homecoming celebration, themed ”XULAFLIX,” kicks off on October 28 with the university’s annual Coronation Ball and also ends on November 5.


Scheduled activities include the 2nd annual Athletic Hall of Fame banquet, the joint student/alumni celebration on the yard, a celebratory Homecoming banquet, a special gospel choir reunion concert, the ever-popular alumni golf challenge, an alumni author showcase, and more. The student events also include a student concert, Halloween costume party, masquerade boat ride, GospelFest, and skate night.


“We are so excited to welcome home our alumni for this celebration on our campus,” said Kimberly Reese (‘95), ’s associate vice president of Institutional Advancement. “We formed such powerful and lasting bonds during our years on campus; We can’t wait to reconnect with old friends and welcome the next generation of ites.”

University of Louisiana 40 under 40 Awards Celebration. created the 40 Under 40 program in 2014 to identify and engage high-achieving younger alumni who are well-positioned to serve as advocates and ambassadors for the university and who have demonstrated a commitment to maintaining a lifelong relationship with the university.
